How do I change language variables?
 

Hi,

This will probably be an obvious question to many of you, but i'm relatively new to x-cart and am still finding my way around.

I want to change certain wording, such as the link 'see details'. I have found where this is:

$lng.lbl_see_details

I can change it by simply overwriting the above, but I am assuming that this isn't the correct way to do it. I'm sure there must be language variables somewhere, but have looked around for ages, and I can't find them.

Can someone please point me to where such variables are editable?

Manual covers this one pretty well, but you want to go into your 'Languages' area. Select english, select Labels and then use the filter box to search for the variable.

I wasn't looking in the admin area, I was looking for txt files in the folders using Dreamweaver. Doh!

Nope, all language variables are in the database...so DW won't find them :)

I guess i'm used to Click Cart Pro, whereby I could change these things in DW. I thought i was going mad looking for them.
