Featured Products as dedicated page
 

We want to use the featured products as a "Blowout" Section. what i want to do is not display the on the front page (already happening).

now i cant figure out how to create a page that i can link to that pulls these products.

i figure i simply need to call featured.tpl from a php file or html file. yet i cannot seem to make it work. any one know how to do this? or have a better solution?

How about just adding a new category...call it 'Blowout'. Add whatever products you want to it.

yeah, have seen this technique, but its not quite what i want. if there is a way to just call the featured products that would be the best option.

You could try this in an embedded static page:

{include file="customer/main/featured.tpl" f_products=$f_products}
