Do X-Cart Upgrades work with newer Versions of X-Cart?
 

I have spent several hundreds of dollars to have X-Cart modify and create a module for me to use under version 4.0.5.

I now need to upgrade in order to use Paypal Website Payments Pro (I think).

Can I upgrade to 4.0.19 and still use the module that X-Cart setup?

You'll need to ask X-Cart how they programmed the module.

That's what I was thinking as well. I actually sat down and started looking at how they tied various php files in core program files. It looks like it's going to be a mess. A mess I'll probably either have to fix myself and pull snippets of code out of everywhere or fork out some dough to those who programmed it in the first place.

I think 4.0.17 was the first, but if you are upgrading, you might as well go to .19.
