Layout not showing up
 

Last week I restored a backup of my X-cart database and of my X-cart webstore to my webhost. Once everything was uploaded I went to check out my website and now I have a problem. The website shows up, but there is no layout, no images, no CSS layout...

Can anybody help me solve this problem so that it is viewable again to the customers?

My website is located at http://www.baecom.com/home.php

I'm running 4.0.12 and since my backup restore I don't see my layout appearing. But when I rightclick an image it links to "http://skin1/..." I assume that is wrong, but do you know where I can change that to add my www.baecom.com path so my images show up perfectly?

Check your config.php file and make sure the correct paths are set for the store.

As I checked the config.php file i noticed this:

# EXAMPLE 2:
# $xcart_http_host ="www.yourhost.com";
# $xcart_https_host ="www.yourhost.com";
# $xcart_web_dir ="";
# will result in the following URLs:
# http://www.yourhost.com/
# https://www.yourhost.com/
#
$xcart_http_host ="www.baecom.com";
$xcart_https_host ="www.baecom.com";
$xcart_web_dir ="";

I think i have setup the correct path since the xcart is directly installed at www.baecom.com. The website works though...but the layout & graphics do not show up. What can the problem be of that?

Looks like your skin1.css file is missing. Make sure it restored in the skin1/ directory.

problem solved...thanks a lot

now the only problem left is the upgrade part

Error: perl executable is not found or patch.pl has no rights to execute. In that case you cannot use patch/upgrade code of X-Cart.

Specify the path to perl in General Settings
