3 column product listing in category description
 

I'm looking for a way to provide a quick list of a category's entire product offereing. Some of our categories have hundreds of products and it is very annoying to our customers to have to click through page after page to see what is available.

What I'm thinking of is a 3 column listing in the category desription area that would simply display a list of linked product names.

Any ideas?

Sure, you could just create a copy of customer/main/products_t.tpl, remove the images and prices and use an {if} statement to only show that tempalte for certain categories.
