Customer Printable Invoice Questions
 

I have a question...

The order confirmation page that displays the confirmation message & invoice, at the bottom there is the 'print invoice' link. This is to be used for customers who want to fax or mail in their order. When I click on that, the new window that opens displays the invoice exactly like the invoice on the order confirmation page, with my dark colored background. Customers wouldn't want to print all the color, not to mention it can't be faxed legibly. When I did a print preview, the background color went away.

My question is...

Should I not worry about it, since it won't actually print w/ a background?

Is there a separate template I can edit that only affects the customer's 'printable invoice' and not the actual invoice you see on the order confirmation page? That way I can make the background white & change the text color? If so, where is it located?

That is a browser setting, don't worry about it. By default, Internet Explorer and IE have background color printing turned off.
