Editing Home Page Basics
 

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a guide on how to locate certain portions of the home page( or any other page for that matter) ? I am trying to edti the html text and title of home.php but can't seem to find it. I tried Languages and search and edit templates. I can't take many chances with templates as the store is custom designed. My webmaster is not avilable and I generally do all updating of text by myself anyway. It is driving me crazy that I have been there before but can't find it now. It would be nice to have some kind of guidance we newbies could refer to as to the logic behind the Languages so we could figure this out by ourselves.

You need to become best friends wtih "webmaster mode".

Then - read balinor's "template Editing Guide"
