HELP - Why dont any plugins work with 4.1.3?
 

Hi,

I am new to x-cart and am having it customized for me. I have my programmer waiting to get it going for me but it looks like all the plugins I want say they work with 4.0.

Do the following plugins still work with 4.1.3?

-Product Meta Tags Plus
-CDSEO
-Ruby Fedex label printing

Also, are there any huge differences between the last 4.0 version and 4.1.3?

Because 4.1 and 4.0 are completely different and 4.1 is not stable yet. Developers don't want to write a mod for a version that still has major bug fixes on the way.

CDSEO does work with 4.1.3 - I am currenlty using it.
Last I know, RubyMods did not work with 4.1.x, but that might have changed. You may want to look at www.shippingkit.com, they have some mods that do work with 4.1.x.

Did you have to change anything to get it to work with 4.1.3 ? I am about to go live and would really like to use my copy of CDSEO

By the sounds of it I should stick with 4.0.19 if 4.1.3 is not stable yet.

I am just wodering what big changes I am missing by not going to 4.1.3?

Of course I dont want my store to be unstable and lose sales.

Although not "officially" stable, 4.1.3 is pretty stable in my opinion. CDSEO has been upgraded for use in 4.1.3, you need to get that from WebsiteCM, the guy that puts it out.

Many mods and add ons now work with 4.1.3
