Related Product to Related Size Chart
I'm digging and digging (liked old forum search better) but not finding a hint for how to display a bit of html--link, text, etc--in the product.tpl file on condition of product brand (captured?) of the item being displayed.
Thoughts, anyone? MUCH APPRECIATED! :~D |
Re: Related Product to Related Size Chart
You are kidding about the search right? This search is 1000 times better. Be sure to NOT use and in your searches...just type the straight search query.
So you are looking for an {if} statement conditional to the Manufacturer of a product or a Category? Also, please don't post in the Completed Custom Mods forum, that is for Completed code only. |
Re: Related Product to Related Size Chart
Yes, I am looking for an {if} statement conditional to the Manufacturer of a product.
Re. correct topical category: the breadcrumb in my browser shows "X-Cart forums > X-Cart Customization > Storefront Design & Template Editing"... something missing? :~) |
Re: Related Product to Related Size Chart
Yea, that is because I moved the post.
{if $manufacturerid eq "x"} Replace X with the manufacturer ID you want to display something for. Not tested, but give it a shot. May also want to try $product.manufacturerid |
Re: Related Product to Related Size Chart
Mr. Ryan, sir;
Thanks on both topics :~) This works: {if $product.manufacturerid eq "1"}Leg Ave{/if} {if $product.manufacturerid eq "2"}Shirley of Hollywood{/if} {if $product.manufacturerid eq "3"}Dreamgirl{/if} I hope you're making the big bucks you obviously deserve, Mic |

Re: Related Product to Related Size Chart
So, how about something like
{if $product.manufacturerid eq "1"}Leg Ave{/if} {if $product.manufacturerid eq "2"}Shirley of Hollywood{/if} {if $product.manufacturerid eq "3"}Dreamgirl{/if} but for product or category (product, ideally), instead of manufacturerid? :~) THX! |
