Only showing subcategories, not products
 

Hello all,

My company has 5 main categories, with several subcategories each. For each category, they only want the links to the subcategories displayed. Right now, both the subcategories are listed as well as, from what I can tell, all products in every subcategory.

Is it possible to just display the list of subcategories, and no products (so the user would only see the products when they were in the subcategory)? I couldn't find any options for it, and when I tried to modify template files, all of my product listings dissapeared.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Products are only shown if they are in the root category. Tell your client to make sure to only put the product in the sub-category if they don't want it to show in the listing of the sub-categories.
