Change of Image Location not effective
 

Hi X-sters,

I use the file system, not db, for storing product images, and I've just updated Admin > Images Location for minor seo purpose. This change is confirmed on the admin side. On the customer side, however, the update is not reflected at all, showing instead the previous product image file path.

I'm not using seo/html file gen or anything, smarty settings are all normal/default.

What can I check or do to effect the customer view with change made in the admin side for path to product image location?

Check the thumbnails table in your database with phpmyadmin to make sure that the path is changed in there.

yeah i can see that, but the database stores all your information - including the path to where your images are in the filesystem. Chances are it has not updated and is pointing to the wrong place.

Indeed... could have been either I guess. Anyway, resolved with export, update and import... thx tho'!!!
