ezCheckout and Discount Coupon Box
 

I'm using WebsiteCM mods on my X-Cart Gold 4.0.18.
One of them is ezCheckout.
I've been getting emails from my customers that they can't find the Discount Coupon box during their checkout.
The problem seems to be that if a customer presses "Buy Now" button, they're taken directly to the second tab of ezCheckout titled "Login" if the are not logged in, bypassing the first tab, titled "Your cart" where the Discount Coupon box resides. If they're registered and logged in, they're taken to the third tab directly, so they never see the coupon box.
I've contacted Jon and I'm told that, to his knowledge, this is the default behaviour of 4.0.18. He also suggested that I contact the forums first, so I'm asking anybody who's not using ezCheckout to confirm that, in fact, when Buy Now button is pressed, you are taken to the second step of the checkout procedure and you're not seeing the Discount Coupon box, and if that's the case, if you know of a workaround, short of disabling Buy Now button completely.

Moving to Third Part Add-Ons

Since I couldn't get anybody to press the "Buy Now" button and tell me what they're seeing, I've performed a test install of the 4.0.18 and guess what?
Pressing "Buy Now" button takes you to "Your shopping cart" page, doesn't skip it as it was suggested to me, the "Discount coupon" box is there, and everything is A-OK.
So, here I come knocking, WebsiteCM :)

After a long look at the code, I discovered a bug in the ezRecommends mod that affected functionality of the Buy Now buttonl.
As it turned out, modification of the buy_now.tpl was intended only for ezRecommends mod and had some adverse effects when other WebsiteCM mods were installed.
I had Jon update the code and everything is back to normal.
I have my Buy Now button back!
