Email formatting
 

Hi all! I have a site ready to launch but for one thing. I do not have HTML Email checked under General Settings yet my emails are still one solid block of text with no returns. In the email template, the returns are there, but when previewing the code or when receiving an email, the text doesn't break.

My situation:

1. Hosting at iPowerWeb (client's request, certainly not mine) :)

2. Had site on a staging server and then moved it once completed.

3. Permission nightmare fixed and I deleted templates_c and then re-added the folder.

Ok pros...dazzle me!

Maybe you can try adding /n to every end of line in your template. I'm not too sure if it works, but is worth a try.

Hi! Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried it yet but I'm wondering if there is another solution because there are a heckofalotta (word?) email templates to mess with. I have x-cart on 2 other servers and this doesn't happen. iPowerWeb tech reps just scratch their heads and tell me it must be my code (I've learned this translates into "huh? duhhhh. me clueless").
