Start page and meta title (for version 4.1)
 

my store is in the directory /store. How do I get the start page to be the /store page?

Also, how do I change the meta title? Other posts with replies seem to be using version 4.0. I'm in 4.1 and the directions dont make sense.

Your best bet is to move the site to the root instead of in a store/ directory. If not, you will need to use a redirect or splash page to get the customer into the store directory.

META information is changed via General Settings/SEO options.

Thanks. I didnt see how to remove that post myself. Will moving it to the root directory effect anything?

no it won't affect anything, after you move it open your config.php file, it will be in the root directory, then change $xcart_web_dir ="/store"; to $xcart_web_dir =""; it should be around line 104.
