Free X-cart template

If you don't know how to customize default x-cart template or if you don't have money for custom or premade template, here is the free X-cart skin(very clean and simple look). Feel free to use it... if you like it.

Tested with x-cart 4.1.5!

Nice template. Actually I bought one of your templates before. Thank you very much.

Two questions:

How can I get rid of the vertical margin on two sides (on edge of the browser)?

How can I reduce the space between the vertical manu (such as Manufacturers) and the central area (such as Featured products)? I like the smaller space between blocks like the new yahoo.com does.

Thanks a lot.

To change the page width to 100% open skin1.css and change width value in TABLE.Container from 890px to 100%...like this:
TABLE.Container { width: 100%; margin: 0 auto; background-color: #F6FFFF; }

To reduce the space between menu boxes open skin/customer/home.tpl and remove all
tags. To reduce the space between dialog boxes on product page open skin/customer/product.tpl and remove all

tags.

Can any mods or skin templates be added to current site easy

We started w/ a website design, then added x-cart. I am starting to think it would have been better the other way around? Too late for that though, sooooo....

Anyways, we are new to xcart and still working out the kinks, adding products, agreements, etc. but we are interested in giving our cart some sprucing up. We have very LITTLE html coding knowledge but can follow instrustions easily. If we decided we wanted to change our entire skin would it automatically configure with what we have in x-cart (products, emails, agreements, etc)? Also remember we had our web developer already configure x-cart to look like current site. So if we change the skin would we have to change the entire site to match too? Does that make sense?

If not can we just upgrade things here and there as we go without changing the entire skin.

TIA for your advice!
