Can i create a new simple invoice to be emailed to 3rd party
Hi all
I would like to have all orders emailed to a 3rd party. I have made a simple appreviated version on the order invoice email but not sure how to get it sent when an order is placed. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Thanks James |
In general settings --> Company options --> Orders department e-mail address:
You can fill in the 3rd party's email address. All orders will be e-mailed to that e-mail. |

Just figured that part out, but how would i change the content of the email, i only want to send them basic info. I have already created the template but just not sure how to get it to them. Thanks James |
skin1\mail\html\
mail_header.tpl order_invoice.tpl order_notification.tpl Be careful with changing these templates. Leave the functions intact. |

Thanks for you help on this but im still confused  Sorry to be a pain. I still want to get a copy of the invoice, i still want my customer to get a copy of the invoice but i would like a potential investor/partner to get an simple version of the order showing only the info i have chosen (already created template) I would like them to receive the simple version in real time like i do with orders. This gives them an idea on how many order i receive and when, helping them decide on if he business is of any use to them. Im i just confusing the matter more or is this possible. Thanks James |
Really simple. Your layout can be changed in the .tpl files
The customer gets the order automaticly by e-mail when he or she submits on order. If you want to get an order notification. just enter your address in the admin box under company settings. |
This is all good BUT, its not a copy of the order i want the 3rd party to get. I have made a new template showing basic info that i would like the 3rd party to get. Every one else can get the order email to them but not the 3rd party, i dont want him to see that.
