Creating a "My Account" page - similar to oscommer
 

Aloha,

I am new to x-cart and versed in oscommerce - finding x-cart and smarty infinitely better than osc and its template mods! :D

I am wanting to have one button to take the user to a "My Account" page - like osc. After clicking the button if they are not registered then they would be prompted to do so otherwise I would like to go to custom page that included customer_details and menu_cart. I imagine i would need to add a new php and tpl file to handle the custom page, anything else?

For some reason I didn't find the my account thread earlier.

I am soooo happy using x-cart, actually going quickly up the learning curve in the course of one day by reading and applying various solutions from this forum/FAQ.
