Back ordering mod - Help?!
I don't know is anyone will be able to advice me on this one.
As a newbie to X Cart a lot of the mods to my site have been through this forum and also trial and error. I had used a mod off here so that you could still order products if they were out of stock. Anyway after some trial and error we decided against it thinking that if they saw it was out of stock then they would look elsewhere straight away anyway. Months later I have been looking into using it and have turned inventory tracking back on and it seems to work ok apart from one major floor. If you have the options set up as Variants it will show whatever the amount of variants are in stock. If its out of stock it will show no items available. The problems arise when I have a product that has options but NOT set as VARIANTS then it displays [object HTMLSelectElement] item(s) available rather than just the amount. Has anyone any ideas where i should be looking to change this so that it doesnt matter whether the options are set as Modifier or VARIANT?? |
Did you completely reverse the mod you installed? Because that looks like a remanant of that.

Yeh thats my problem I did the mod originally a while ago and so can't remember which bits got changed around and what mod i used. I thought if i was able to find the actual mod i used then i might be able to find out which templates I changed?

Sorry Balinor but I don't think its either one of them??
Is there any way it could have been deleted off the forum? |
Did you buy it or was it a free one?
|
Not bought any yet so it was off here?! Is there anyway i can do a search for the text that it brings in?
|
Yea, just search for backorder, but limit your search to the Custom Forum. I searched for 'back and order' to come up with those two results above...you might have better luck.
