How-To Display Products in a List format?
Hi,
My company sells reports regarding financial institutions. The only difference between reports will be the institution the report is on. Therefore, I just need each product (each individual report) to be displayed in a list format (ie, within a subcategory, I'd like the products to just display the title and Price instead of the icon, and other stuff) See Below for an example: Category Title Report 1........Price Report 2........Price Report 3........Price I dont have any programing experiance, would it be difficult to make this modificaiton? As an alternative, I could also just make the spacing between the products smaller (see the pic) I would like the parts marked with red to be one line at most, How can I do this, would I do it by editing a template? Which line(s) would I have to change? Thanks for your help...I'm a complete newbie, so thanks for your patients! |
you need to edit the templates, possibly customer/main/products.tpl perhaps,

Ok...as a newbie, I think I'd have more success using Dreamweaver8...I've installed PHP and the Smarty Extention, but I'm still not clear on how I can edit Smarty with DW8...anyone have a link to a how-to guide on that?
Other suggestions highly appreciated! |
Sorry, I generally just use text edit but try searching for dreamweaver as I think someone did write something on how to use Dreamweaver
