Removing items from cart
I want to add a 'remove item' button to the cart at the final checkout.
If I copy & paste the code used in the regular cart display - once clicked will it return the customer to the same point at the checkout or will it take them back to the regular cart display? Of course I could just try it and see for myself but I'm just wondering if anybody knows the outcome before I do all that because if it takes them back to the main cart and they lose there spot at the checkout I won't bother trying it. |
Ok just in case anybody else is attempting this - It doesn't work at all. It just takes you to the main cart display and doesn't remove the item.
So who's gonna hook me up with a 'remove this item' code that I can use on the final checkout cart display (summary?) only. http://www.wyzeshop.com/screenshot12.gif Go on, you know you want to ;) |
Oh come on... ;)

Ok let me put this in a way that you may not have realised....
At the moment it is impossible for customers to delete e-goods from the cart at the checkout. This is just nonsense! I need a solution so that the customer can delete whatever items they want from their cart at checkout without X-cart forcing them back to the main cart display (therefore losing their place at the checkout). This is standard with any shop I've ever used and I can't believe it's not a simple option here? I've tried allsorts of things but nothing seems to work. Does anybody have an idea of how to sort this out? |
