can the Default editor mode disaply html source
 

I got a question concerning the cart if someone could help answer for me.

Q1.

In the 4.1.0v of xcart; when your editing a 'Short Description' for an item in a category; their are 2 links titled:
(1) Default editor (2) WYSIWYG editor

Does the Default editior support the input of html source code? (ex. can I paste a html webpage and it will disaply)


Q2.
I currently am running a live cart v4.0.16 and I know that xcart came out with v4.1.0 which they are selling to consumers; Some sites I noticed are running the new version. Is it a stable branch to use for a live store?

Input html in the default editor...WYSIWYG will create the html for you.

4.1 should NOT be used for live stores. It is still months away from being stable.

I dont remember the admin storefront end, do it have the look of the 4.1.0; are their any design changes compared to the 4.0.16v that I am using?

4.1 is quite different. Have a look at the demo at x-cart.com
