Displaying products - cut down version.

How is this done? Is it a hand coded product list or something that x-cart generates automatically?

Ok think I may have sussed this one out already but need some advice.

I'm guessing that the 'short product' template has been editied here. Makes sense but I'm not sure which tpl file I need to edit.

I assume that there are seperate tpl files for the short & full product descriptions?

Ahh ok, thinking about this a little more editing the short description tpl file wouldn't really work as we sell varying types of products.

ie.

We sell vinyl & mp3's which would need to have a 'listen' button in the short description field. But we also sell T-Shirts and merchandise which obvioulsy wouldn't need a 'listen' button.

Is there a way of assigning buttons to only appear on audio products without hand coding each individual product? I suppose kind of like the way the text 'This is a downloadable product' only appears on ESD goods.

That is probably just a modified products.tpl file. Moving to template editing.
