Hide shipping address in register and checkout form
 

Hi,

I know there is a kind of mod in the completed mods forum. But most of us couldn't get this one working.
Wat I want to do is make a [+] to extend the shipping address if this is different than the billing address. So the shipping address is hidden on the first look. Than it looks that the checkout form is a lot shorter, and I geuss this will give the customer a better feeling not to fill in the whole form!
When the customer wants to ship the order to a different address they just click on the [+] and the shipping address fields will appear and they can fill in these fields also.
Unfortunately I'm not really a coder. Maybe some would help me with doing this. Its not really much work. You just have to know how do to it. Many people on the forum will be interested in this one I think.

Not an answer to your problem BUT something else you might want to add in if you sell worldwide is that because of the increased fraud risks involved in shipping to a address other than the customers card billing address you may want to limit the different shipping address on a per country basis.

We are looking into getting this coded ourselves as well but in the "countries" section of admin have an extra checkbox that will allow us to assign the extended shipping address section to appear only for selected countries.

i.e I would allow USA, Canada, UK and Australia but I wouldn't allow it for singapore, taiwan and china etc. (just using these countries as an example purposes)

Please inform me about the qoute from X-Cart. I'm intrested as well. Our store is also set up to sell world wide. It would be a nice solution to prevend fraud.
