Display thumbnail images only
 

I have a custom index.html page where I just want to display 5 Featured thumbnails, as part of the design - no text, no details, but still to remain as links to the product's page for that thumbnail.

Is there an easy way to just grab the code for the featured products thumbnails?

I'd also like to grab 1 main thumbnail for each category to use in another area - there are only 2 categories, so I just need a thumbnail from each category without the rest of the information.

I'd like to keep things as simple as possible so future upgrades don't break the index page.

It isn't exactly easy to pull product data automatically from outside the X-Cart structure. You would need to create html links to the products and code the index page manually.

Sorry about that - I figured there may have been a custom mod somewhere for this.

I will need to code the index page manually, but I just don't know which code to add to the index page - I see some mention of product thumbnails in the code, but I don't know how much of that code is needed.
