Can't Edit CSS File From Admin?
I know it can be done - and I know I've done it before - but for some reason, I'm getting an error when I try to edit style1.css in the template editor. When I try to save the file, I get the error
"File operation is failed." I can edit the rest of the templates. And I know I've edited this one from the admin before now. I've checked the permissions and they're the same as the other template files. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks, -- Steph |
make sure you have the css file set to chmod 666
youll have to do that via FTP |
Thanks, that worked but it still puzzles me.
Unsure what they should be, I checked the permissions for skin1.css against files that I could edit. All of the template files were set to 644 but the only one I couldn't edit from the admin panel was the CSS file. Does it need a different set of permissions? Thanks again for the help! |
should all be 666 to edit
