Is this a standard x-cart feature or mod (navigation menu)

These guys have a drop down menu navigation I want on my site.

See how you can put in a "Select a vehicle", then the next drop down features catagories for that model only, then the next has the actual different products

Is this a standard feature in the new 4.x.x line or is it a custom mod? I do notice they say not to use it on their site as it is still being setup...

I'm running 3.5.14 and have been contemplating upgrading to 4.x.x mainly for the unlimited catagories you can add products too and this feature may be enough to tip me over the edge.
