Change Link Descriptions in Header

I would like to change the wording on the links at the top of each page. I have looked at head_customer.tpl but have not figured it out.

For example, I want to change the text from Shopping Cart to My Shopping Cart. I searched in the languages section, but it doesn't seem to be controlled there.

I would also like to change the >> image to something else. Is there a library of images that are used in X-Cart?

You might find these links under Speed Bar in Admin.

Thanks! That was the place. I didn't know about the Speed Bar.

Oh - there's plenty more like that!

One thing in the category of "things I'd wish I'd known when I started" is to not have your shop in a /store category as search engine spiders will not find it as easily as if it was in the root.

modifing links

Eh while we are on this topic nad let me say I have very basic knowledge of this cart so far . Anyhow how do you change the main logo link in the head of the cart I have my logo at the top left and when you click on it it takes me to the x cart page which says this is where you enter the store. I would also like to remove this page or at least have it as my main page that I already have setup . Thanks

Well if you remove this page, then it will probably just goto the new home page, which will be home.php

Start by deleting index.html completely. You don't need this if this is just the default x-cart intro page.

Just using any standard ftp program, remove the index.html file from the root.
