Changing invoice graphic
 

I've got XCart Gold v. 4.0.17

I want to customize the graphic that shows up on the invoice screen and in the invoice email. I changed the file companyname_small.gif, but that doesn't seem to have done it.

That is indeed the correct image. You may need to refresh your browser a few times, clear out your browser cache, or clear out your templates_c directory.

thanks for that info. i also changed that graphic.

my question is similar/related to this, the link back to my company that is found in the invoice actually isn't correct

it sends them to www.mydomain.com/xcart and i want them to go to www.mydomain.com.

where do i change this? do i acutally change the invoice? If so, do i change mail/html/order_invoice.tpl? I'm very new ... which i'm sure you can tell, what would i change in this file ... nothing looks obvious to me.

Is there other things that will point to the wrong addy? Is there a master file that i put my website into so that all forms will link back to the correct place?

The link in there is based on what you have in your General Settings/Company options :)

really, because i have www.mydomain.com (www.inthehoopdesigns.com) listed as my company website in general settings/company options

but the link in the invoice still shows www.inthehoopdesigns.com/x-cart

Did you install xcart in the xcart/ directory?

sorry for the late response, i still don't have this resolved.

Yes i did install it in the xcart directory.

My stores homepage is www.inthehoopdesigns.com. when you go there it actually takes you to

http://www.inthehoopdesigns.com/x-cart/home.php

but on the invoice, the link at the top takes to you http://www.inthehoopdesigns.com/x-cart ... which is confusing for my clients.

also, the signature at the bottom of my invoice is listed with my company details. it has by addy as http://www.inthehoopdesigns.com but when you click on it, it also takes you to http://www.inthehoopdesigns.com/x-cart/home.php


Maybe the better question would be, can i take the x-cart directory out of the addy easily?
