Display random products from specified categories
 

Hi,

I'm trying to customise our template so within the featured products list as seen on the homepage only random products are shown from specified categories, I'd like to set a property so that the list shows one featured product from each category at a time.

I'd be grateful for any help,

There are a few mods for this in the Custom Mods forum.

I tried search but could not find any answers, may you could kindly send me a link. thanks,

This sounds like a good mod, as then the page can have 6 featured products theat can change on the hour or every5 minutes etc!!!! could you place a link to the topic,

Thanks for that will lookin to it shortly, although i still need to get my products uploaded for it to work.......

still a few more miles away from modifications before prods are added. then hopefully all the work will pay off!!!!!
