How to limit the quantity in the checkout page ?
 

Hello,

I need limit the quantity on the checkout page because I can sell only 3 pieces of my product to each customer (one customer can buy 1,2 or 3 pieces but not 4).

How can I use the quantity drop down box with a limit number on the chekout page please or something else to get this limit ?

Unfortunately that is not a standard feature in X-Cart, although quite a few people have asked for it. Your best bet is to get a quote from X-Cart to implement it for you.

I've had quite a few clients ask for that, where it's not stock control thats needed it's a "maximum" they can purchase during any one order. Many items fall into this such as special deals, limited stock requiring a spread of orders, items that can be dangerous (example food supplements/medicines etc)

A maximum purchase in the product details page would be extremely useful.
