Manufacturers/Brands menu with scrollbars
 

Hi Guys

We've changed Manufacturers to Brands and added logos instead of brand names... On category pages only the brand logos for that category displays, but on the homepage ALL brands display --there are currently about 50 but there will be 200+

The client insisted the brand logos display in a e.g. 120heigh 130width window with scrollbars.

I am not sure how to achieve this... Iv read elsewhere on this forum that iframes are NOT recommended. So i assume a scrolling layer is the better option? But how? May I have javascript in a TPL?

Does anyone perhaps know of such a script? Maybe supply me with a link?

I know the client is always right, but in this case they really aren't :( Tell them that it will hurt their Search Engine Optimization to have a scrolling window of Brands, that should discourage them :)

I managed, thanks... javascript/dhtml wasnt necessary:

a simple

<DIV STYLE="width: 140px; height: 215px; overflow: auto;"></DIV>

did the trick....
