'One-Click' 'Buy-Now' links from website to xcart
 

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has found a way to implement a 'One-Click' or 'Buy-Now' functionality for X-cart? What we'd like to do is have links from our corporate website that when clicked will bring the user to the cart with an item already placed in it. You know, kind of like Amazon's one-click shopping feature. Any code snippets out there?

yeah, put in a link like:


where the 12345 is the product id of the item you want to link to.

Hi all,

OK -- now how do you call the cart to not only ADD a product, BUT to also specifiy any selected option(s)??? This is a little more elusive from what I can see...

lot of work I reckon.

best way to do it is look at the product detail page for the product concerned and see if you can add all the elements of the choice you want to specify as get variables...ie as part of the query string and make that the link.
