Categories in Manufacturer's Page
 

Hello,

I apologize if this topic has been discussed previously, i've searched and searched but did not find anything to help me with what i'm trying to do.

I am using the manufacturer module on my site and this is what I would like it to do....

My manufacturers make many different types of products that falls within several different categories, so when a customer clicks on a manufacturer I would like it to bring up a page that displays all of the categories that this manufacturer has products under. Currently it just brings up all of the products that this manufacturer has. Is this possible to do in x-cart?

I'm new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

anything is possible but this would require cutsom coding to make it work as it wont do this by default

Yes shan, anything is possible. I am sure pigs will be able to fly one day, but can x-cart display the products for a manufacturer by category instead if just lumping all its products in one continuous list?

Has anyone done a mod for this or planning to? I have seen thes capablity on many eCommerce sites and it would be just so great to have. I would be willing to pay for a mod if someone has one. I am sure many other x-cart owners would too.

P.S. 4.1.5 is running so well. upgrade from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4 and then to 4.1.5 ran sweet. Keep up the good work RRF.
