Noob cant change header image.
 

Hi guys, I thought I'd try and get started on adjusting my templates, but Im having a problem in the early stages. I've managed to change the tables widths without a hitch, but now I've set myself the goal of changing the header image and I've come accross some problems.

I have upload the image to the same location as the previous header image and then adapted the code to match the image filename. I've tried several times now and still no joy.

Any ideas what Im doing wrong?, the original image is still in place and will not change. The preview mode show with the new image.

Also when xcart was installed it was installed with a skin, will I be better off working from the original install?, and if so I do I remove the template skin?

I have managed to change the header now, the image code was in the the related CSS file.

Im still unsure if the template skin should be removed, would it make the process easier?, would still like to know how to remove the skin.

Thanks. Don't think you need to remove the skin, you just need to use Webmaster Mode to tell you what template is what. Will save you a ton of time.
