Could you clarify your version in your signature please? 4.1 isn't available yet, so you are probably on 4.0.something. Click on your summary page in your admin menu and scroll down a bit to find out your exact version.

sorry about that i didnt know where to look.

X-Cart version 4.1.0 beta 1
MySQL server 4.0.24-nt-max

is that what you needed?

Why are you using a beta version? That is not a stable version of X-Cart, and many features do not work. You need to download and install 4.0.17.

well when i bought xcart this was the only option i had in my account at that time. this might explain some things.

There should be two options in your file area, the beta and the stable (4.0.17) branch. If not, contact X-Cart via your help desk.

i looked just a minute ago and now theres two different ones. now what do i do? is it possible to migrate everything ive done so far to the older version?

I don't think so. You really should start from scratch, as you run the risk of the stable version not working with the beta code.

does the 4.1 beta version also say 'not to be used for production sites' or somthing where you can download it ?
