subcategories show all products?
I struggled for 10 minutes attempting to understand how I was going to explain this, because its truly is a minor detail, but hey, this SW is all about tweaking every detail.
as a user, when clicking on a category from the main page, xcart show the subcategories at the top of the next page, and under it all the products from all the subcategories. How can I make a category (that has subcategories) only show those subcategories, and not all the products? Conversely, when the category has no subcategories, it obviously needs to show the products. Get it? I hope so. Help please. |
By default, X-Cart should NOT show all of the products from all of the sub-catgories, only produts that are in the root category. Are you sure you didn't put the product in the sub-category AND the root category when you imported them?
