Welcome to X-Cart Store page!

How do you remove the "Welcome to X-Cart Store" page please. I've searched right through and haven't been able to find a single post about this. Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me why and how I get rid of the white line that runs straight down the right hand side of my site? (www.gralbond.co.uk). Thanks everyone.

Welcome to X-Cart! Please start by reading the forum rules, and posting your X-Cart version in your signature (Edit profile, enter version, enter password, save):

Next, try the manual, found here: http://www.x-cart.com/manuals.html

If you still have questions after reading the manual, please search the forum first, as many of the most common questions have been answered multiple times. You need to make sure to use 'and' in your searches. For example, 'welcome and text and remove' will get you the result you want.

As for the white line, do you mean the space between the vertical menus and the edge of the browser? That is a table cell in customer/home.tpl.

A tip for template editing: try webmaster mode. It will allow you to edit text on the fly, and also let you know which templates are which.

Hi thanks for your post.

I placed my version etc in my signiture and they are visable to me in my profile in the signiture section - I don't know why they aren't being posted when I make a post, I'm afraid.

In reply to your comments I did actually look all the way through this section for answers to my question but I was unable to find anything usuful. The white line I'm talking about is unique to my site! If you take a look at the url then you'll know immediatly what I'm talking about.

In your profile, you need to check the 'yes' box that says:

Always attach my signature:

As far as the white line goes, I don't see it. A screenshot would be helpful.

I've removed the background now so its kinda sorted itself out now so it won't be seen.

Thanks for your help, anyhow.
