How to take location.tpl out of hompage ONLY

Ok, i can't seem to figure out how to take out location.tpl from the homepage only. I want it to be on the rest of the pages but it seems useless on the first page. I tried to take it out of home.tpl but then it just takes it out of the rest of the pages too. Help please!
