sepecialist colour swatch mod
 

This mod was specifically designed for wig site but I think it has a lot more applications than just wigs.

I have been using the mod for some time now and thought some others might be interested as it is a fairly complex piece of coding - the best way to describe it is to show some images with point commentary:
The customer side
1. the customer selects a colour swatch:

2. the system confirms the selection:

3. the system shows the selection at the checkout:

The admin side
1. a new link is added to admin

2. there is a choice of managing the colours or the coloursets
the idea being that the colours are selected which relate to the given product:

this is done by browsing for the image in the standard xcart way (not shown)
3. the colours are matched to the particular product:

Hi there Delphi.
I paid for it to be done by xcart then later modified by another programmer and it is at this moment being upgraded to be compatible with the latest 4.1 software by the xcart people.

It was not cheap but if you are interested perhaps we could share the cost which is around (wait for it!) $700 but for that you get an admin side as well as the front end - do let me know if you are interested.

Wow, $700 ...I am out of hope. I dСnt have that kind of budget eventhough I am very much interested this mod.

So I guess I have to find alternative solution then ...

yes it is expensive so make me an offer - don't forget the system has a complete admin section to set up and manage the colours sets so it is a very sophisticated solution - but as the saying goes anything reasonable to offset the cost may be of interest particularly if you are willing to figure out how to use it and don't need any support
