can we set membership combobox mandatory?
 

hello all,

i have created membership level( combobox) with 2 values.
can i set it mandatory ?
or can i remove "not member" from this combo box?

Yes, you can remove the "not member" from that dropdown box. Look in skin1/main/register_*.tpl's - you'll see one called register_personal_info.tpl and some others - one of those will contain that dropdown and I'm betting you'll see where to get rid of the "not member" part.

You can actually turn off the membership signup dropdown. Just log in, go to General Settings and uncheck "Moderated sign-up for membership."

not like that.........

i need combobox but with my fields there should be no option for "not Member" or if there is option for "not Member " then it should be mandatory to select insted of "Not Member".

Your problem is in this file ------> skin1/admin/main/membership_signup.tpl

Open that file and notice the first <option> is the language label for "not member".

Simply delete that option from <option> to </option> and you're set to go.
