Need to add special character in front of menu listings
 

Greetings:

I need to add a special character with a span tag wrapped around it in at the beginning of each menu listing line. Where would I do this?

menu.tpl. You'll need to use if statements to get each one to be different though.

Help misplaced span tag...
 

Help I accidentally placed my special character/span tags inside the {menu_content} area and now can't seem to edit from the back office.

Where can I go on the site to fix this mistake?

Download the file via ftp and correct it.

I was working on menu.tpl.php when this problem occured.

I downloaded this file from the templates_c dir is this correct?

When I removed my span tag (which actually did not appear to be in the wrong place after all and tried to re-put I got a permissions error.

Suggestions appreciated.

Never mind. Logged onto server and fixed.
 

Sorry... I had to log onto the server and change ownership from when we installed.
