Struggling thru 1st Cart

I think I love this program; but I would like to have control over anything on the right side!

I seem to have a white block in the header, & would like to put products down the right side of the body.

I am very html knowledgeble and semi-CSS..learning php& Smarty
just not sure where to go.

Is there an easy answer I am missing?

Please see http://wirestraightener.com/store/home.php?shopkey=123

Thanks

The white block has 'CATALOG' in it. Take a look for that table cell in either head.tpl or top_menu.tpl and see if you can find where you have specified a white cell.

by products down the right side, do you mean you want to add a third column with featured products in it?

Products on the right

I would like a representative image for each item in the main category list to show on the right. Each image would link to the subcategory.

When reaching a subcategory, I would like to show an image on the right to what I am representing as "Products" within that category, instead of having them all show up below. I seem to right-sided challenged!

Each link would go to the "further details"

So what would go in the center???

Umm, the text list?

The biggest issue is the main product list, which can only be a text list, as I see; since, only one image is supported ... if that!.

The second biggest issue is, I can't access that last cell on the right!

That's because the last cell on the right is called in home.tpl, but the product.tpl is called in the center cell. Best bet is to eliminate the right hand cell from home.tpl and break subcategories.tpl, products.tpl and product.tpl into two columns.

Thanks so much

Balinor, you saved me a lot of time & I understand the interaction of the templates here much better.
