Extreme customization of X-Cart
 

I am wanting to customize X-Cart so that the product layout looks more professional. Some of these features aren't available in X-Cart, such as changing text color and size of price/description, etc. Plus some kind of rating system for each product that displays either a text rating 5/5 or a graphical representation of each rating like you see in many stores on the web. Also, would like to have a small manufacturer logo on the upper-right of each product. And maybe thin gray lines separating each product. Am I wanting to do too much with X-Cart, or should I just have someone develop a cart from the ground up? What I want is something similar in appearance to what I have hand coded on our front page: http://www.gamecalls.net

You can do just about anything you want with X-Cart, including changing the color of any piece of text, adding lines wherever you want and manufacturer logos as well. You just need to get familar with the template system and add/edit the appropriate template.

Try Webmaster Mode, it will help you immensely. :)
