Editing contactus.tpl
 

I am a relative newbie to PHP and I am struggling to make changes to the Contact Us form via contactus.tpl

Whenever I delete an entire row containing a field or remove an "If" statement the form will not process.

Does anyone know where I should be making changes to code to remove mandatory fields as I am only used to doing this in html?

Isn't always the way when you ask for help you find the answer yourself a few minutes later?

Found by editing help_tpl that the obligatory fields can be removed.

Actually the easier way is to use the General Settings/Contact Us options :)

My version 3.5.11 of Xcart Pro doesn't have this option in the general settings dropdown.

Maybe it's time for an upgrade!
