Remove "powered by xcart"
 

I am new to X-cart and I am working on customizing the store and admin area. How do I remove the text, "powered by x-cart: shopping cart software" from the bottom of both my admin and store pages?

I have also seen quite a few live stores from x-carts website that are highly customized. I am simply changing the css files for the store and admin and replacing some images. How can I fully customize the layouts?

I have tried working with the .tpl files and have even downloaded an extension for dreamweaver, but I still get a little lost.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

search for file prnotice.tpl for the powered by xcart bit

you can change the colour of things in the css file but youll need to edit the template files for anything else

switch on webmaster mode and search the forums for more info
