Adding Static Page generates error
 

I checked with my host on this, and they claim that all permissions are set properly. So, I'm posting to see if I can get any assitance from the forum. I have no problems adding products, making changes to my site, etc. However, I cannot add embedded static pages. I get the following error: Can not to save file: please check the write permissions. I can add static pages on the root level with no problem.
Can anyone give me advice on this? Thank you!! This is the final step I need to complete my site.

You need to make sure the directories have write access....Pages/ and US/. Change them to 777 and see if that makes a difference.

I have looked in every blessed directory and there is no such thing as a directory called /Pages/???

Thanks Balinor! I found the link that had the answer after I had already posted here. So I just copied and pasted it here just in case somebody else was crosseyed like me when they got around to editing "static pages". There are only a few posts regarding this particular problem. ANd the search was hard to put together to find the solution.
