hi i want my catagories to have arrows next to the words and dot lines inbetween each words also the top backround having trouble with that to how do i add a backround image on the top of the box ne help wud be apreciated :)

You can add the arrows and lines by editing customer/categories.tpl. As far as adding an image background to the menu box, that is controlled by the .VertMenuTitle class in skin1.css. Take a look at the way background images are used in the button class and do the same thing. Just keep in mind that changing this will change ALL of your menu backgrounds.
