Invoice formatting
Hi,
How can I edit the invoice format to place a custom company Logo on the Invoice where it now shows a default logo space? Thanks |
Hi John
To simply replace the default logo, load a new one to your images directory - typically skin1/images. It is called "companyname_small.gif" If you just want to replace it, you can download the orig to check the dimensions and load the new one in its place - job done. If you want to change the size, location, or in fact alter the whole invoice to suit your own, you need to edit this template: mail/html/order_invoice.html (you can always find the template you need by using Webmaster mode) Once you have this template open, you can edit it in the normal way, although as it is all tables, it is best if you can open it in "Layout" mode. Hope this helps. |
Moving this to Template Editing
|
Hello
I've just been looking at my print invoice and it's a pretty nasty layout. Is it OK to get rid of the language stuff for the company info and just type it in there ? |
You can, but why not just move the variables so that when/if your company address changes, you don't have to go in and edit it in more than one place?

Default images directory
Sorry to jump in here but where is the variable defined for the default images directory?
