Search "static pages"?
Does anyone know how to extend search/advanced search so that it includes static pages?
Thanks, Mike |
Hi All
I would be interested too. Regards Ing. Stephen Hatton  |
Yes, I'm asking this too now! Ideally it would search both product and static pages then segregate the results with a bit at the top that said "X matches found in our shop" and "X matches found from our information pages" (or similar!). Is this a major thing to do?

Re: Search "static pages"?
Was there ever a solution for this, I have information on static pages that I want customers to be able to search for and FIND! :-)
any help is appreciated! |
Re: Search "static pages"?
I reported this as a bug and instead of fixing it they removed the bit in the manual that says that static pages are searched!
I thought about a DIY approach but when I looked at the code I had 2nd thoughts. A Google Custom search box might be one answer to search your site. |
