How to create Back Button
 

I woudl like to place a continue shopping button in my shopping cart which basically goes back to the last page that they were on prior to adding an item to their shopping cart. I figure the button needs to look comethign like this:

{include file="buttons/button.tpl" button_title=$lng.lbl_continue_shopping style="button" onClick="history.back()"}

But I do not know the code I need to call the back function.
